Your Daily Prescription for Laughs...
Three men were recently indicted on charges of wire fraud and mail fraud
stemming from a bidding ring on eBay. The three were auctioning pieces of art
represented as possibly by artists such as Diebenkorn and Hopper, and then
placing shill bids to drive up the auction price. The whole fiasco has brought
to light the problem of fraud on eBay and other auction sites. Here are some
auctions we at DailyComix discovered to be frauds...
- ALIEN DNA! CLONE YOUR OWN!
- Ginger Motor Scooter! New! No Reserve!
- Season tickets for Chicago Enforcers 2002 season!
- L@@K! FNORD SPOTTING KIT!
- MICROSOFT .COM domain name! Lots of hits!
- *MINT* Ark of Covenant! Only two left! NR!
- LUNCH with J.D. SALINGER at Restaurant of Choice!
- NEVER PAY TAXES AGAIN! Completely LEGAL!
- PROFITABLE .COM!
- GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD! VALID IN ALL STATES! NR!
