Robert Downey Jr. is officially (whatever that means) leaving the
hit show Ally McBeal. Here's the REAL reasons why:
- He wanted to play the exact same character on another show.
- Sick of being known as "That dude from Ally McBeal."
- His probation officer thought the show was bad for his career.
- He really wanted to take communal showers, which is typical after
spending some time in prison.
- He was upset that he wasn't the title character.
- The producers were sick of seeing his eyes brighten up every time a
production assistant asked, "Want a Coke?"
- If there wasn't any booze on the set, producers would have to hide
all the hairspray, just in case.
