Your Daily Prescription for Laughs...
Hoosier Daddy
It's been reported that the state of Indiana has been considering
going to a standard set of time, like the rest of the country,
instead of being on the infamous Indiana time that doesn't change
for daylight saving hours. Here's some reason why...
- Indiana has a rule about doing things last.
- The politicians are trying to recreate Indiana's image, no longer
making it "backwards" and "in the middle of nowhere".
- They realized the slogan "Make time for Indiana" was entirely
too logical.
- They were sick of being considered "behind the times".
- Indiana likes to be unique. That's why so many of the
inhabitants have extra chromosomes.
- The extra daylight will help investigaters spend more
time on figuring out what the hell a "Hoosier" actually is.
- Farmers agree that the extra daylight working hours will do
miracles for their illegal plant production.
- Before the expression "Spring forward, fall back" was
only used by Indiana Klansmen.
- Kids love the idea of more daylight for skipping school.
- People in Indiana don't understand how they are going to get
that extra hour to fit on their clocks every six months.
- Daylight savings day adds an exciting holiday to the calendar.
