Your Daily Prescription for Laughs...

Hoosier Daddy

It's been reported that the state of Indiana has been considering going to a standard set of time, like the rest of the country, instead of being on the infamous Indiana time that doesn't change for daylight saving hours. Here's some reason why...

  1. Indiana has a rule about doing things last.

  2. The politicians are trying to recreate Indiana's image, no longer making it "backwards" and "in the middle of nowhere".

  3. They realized the slogan "Make time for Indiana" was entirely too logical.

  4. They were sick of being considered "behind the times".

  5. Indiana likes to be unique. That's why so many of the inhabitants have extra chromosomes.

  6. The extra daylight will help investigaters spend more time on figuring out what the hell a "Hoosier" actually is.

  7. Farmers agree that the extra daylight working hours will do miracles for their illegal plant production.

  8. Before the expression "Spring forward, fall back" was only used by Indiana Klansmen.

  9. Kids love the idea of more daylight for skipping school.

  10. People in Indiana don't understand how they are going to get that extra hour to fit on their clocks every six months.

  11. Daylight savings day adds an exciting holiday to the calendar.
